Return

Day 1
Tried to study on the long flight. Gone through microeconomics only, drifting in and out of sleep when the lights were dimmed and had to use the reading light. Beside me mum was occasionally watching movies or listening to music, or dozing off. If I remembered correctly, SIA crew used to do refills every time your cup becomes empty, so much that the sewage compartment must be bursting at the seams after a flight. Now, they can forget about your requests. No complaints there though; this was a great reward from Oracle (thanks Oracle!), they had to service a full plane, and we were not flying first class.

Mr. Gi was not with us, and his absence was quickly amplified (for reasons unknown). Like the country bumpkin I was, I stood around for a while waiting for myself to be magically checked in. After a few moments nothing happened so I looked around and there! Our assistant coach was the first in a queue at the front desk. I quickly joined the queue.
